Mordi Bimol a True Warrior of Mas Gading

Video Link of Mordi Bimol's Speech

Tonight, though my knees were hurt, I did manage to spend all night standing and watching the 'talk' held in Bau Town. Out of curiosity, I wondered what the speakers have in mind. The speakers are from the opposition party 'DAP' which fronted by Lim Kit Siang. I'm trying to be sensible as to not being easily influenced by any groundless accusation made on the present government. Furthermore, accusations without evidences are considered baseless.

The moment the audiences waiting for are speech made by DAP front-man 'Lim Kit Siang'. I would not consider him a great speaker; as he is not fluent in Malay, while the Mandarin could only be understood by the Chinese. Maybe, his persona as a fighter figure for many years had overpowered his charisma in speech.

I got to know Mordi Bimol from the posters hanged around Bau Town. I'm curious to know how charismatic this young man is. That is why I’m willing to wait the whole night for his introduction and speech. He is a young candidate, 28 years of age. He is considered extremely young for the candidacy, against the more experienced and well known SPDP candidate. Bau is not an easy place to be won by the less popular opposition as most of the major population in Bau consists of the Bidayuh ethnics. Majority of the Bidayuh especially the elderly will support the present government without hesitation as they are custom to it.

As far as I heard, the Bidayuh had never gotten a charismatic leader who is vocal enough and truly fight for the welfare of their people. The moment that this man introduced and started talking, I knew that he is the one that the people of Bau are waiting for. I do believe that men would speak their minds. A man who is charismatic enough in their speech, would behave the same way in their real-life doings. I am sure that he is an action person. I heard that he graduated in marine research, which made him as intelligent as other candidates.

I do hope people of Bau will vote for him. Do not waste such a talented candidate. He is the one the Bidayuh have long waiting for. The Bidayuh as a minority ethnic in Malaysia needs a vocal and charismatic leader to take care of their welfare. They may not be in the government but they do have the say in objecting and requesting for things needed by the people. I'm sure that he will be able to perform better than any other leaders before him.
